This morning I have a lot to be thankful for! Thanks to my awesome students, you all, who make this the best job in the world! It is truly awesome to see the progress week after week, and even day after day with you all. Game two was even better than game 1! Also, thanks to all the awesome band parents who go out of their ways to ensure that the students are receiving a great experience. Every snack that’s given, or water jug that’s filled, uniform that’s hemmed, and ride that’s given… it’s all for the students! Thanks so much! Now moving forward, we’re rolling ahead! Here’s what to expect this week…

By Wednesday, all remaining shirts will go to who pays from the most recent order last week. A little at a time is fine, but progress needs to be being made. The total fee is $175 per student. - There is no game this week! Our next home game is next Friday, 9/8 - Please let me know if you have any questions! Have a great Sunday!

Good morning band family! Congratulations again on a stellar first showing last night! It seemed like most of you had a great time, and that’s so exciting! Things will only get more fun from here. I wanted to get the news out today to give more opportunity for you to prepare for the week to come.
- Our next home football game is this THURSDAY night. This game is also SENIOR NIGHT. That means, the senior band, cheerleader, and football students will be recognized with a few guests of their choice before the game starts on the track. This game was moved from Friday to Thursday for a reason that I am not sure of. Band call time will still be 5pm, and seniors and their guest will report to the track at 6:10pm. I will post more details regarding the game on Monday. Just like last night, this game is required for all band members and is a graded performance. - Due to the game on Thursday, this will affect our practice that day. Tuesday will still be 2:30-5:30, but Thursday will be a short practice from 2:30-3:30pm. Students will then have a short break before the 5pm call time to change/chill/eat. - Pass off #1 and 2 our past due. All students should have passed off the entire opener to be up to speed on pass offs. Never hesitate to ask for help if needed on your pass offs. - If parents ordered show shirts during the summer, we have them in the band room. Please send the $15 per shirt payment with your child to school, and the shirts will be given the them. We will be doing another round of show shirts order for the parents asking for one!
