1:55 - Load bus 2:00 - Depart PSLHS 2:30 - Arrive at Martin County High School 3:15 - Transition to warm up 3:30 - Warm up 4::00 - Performance 4:30 - Dinner at MCHS concessions 6:00 - Watch SLWCHS perform 6:30 - Watch JBHS perform 7:00 - Depart MCHS 7:30 - Arrive at PSLHS 7:45 - Dismissal Students should bring money for dinner at the concession stand. Concert atttire will be what we wore at the winter concert. Gentlemen, all black with a red tie, Ladies, black dress attire.

Good morning jags! Sorry for not posting news these past few weeks, the musical has surely been keeping us busy! Congratulations to the pit orchestra on our first "wave" of performances. I've heard several comments saying this is "the best orchestra they've heard at one of the musicals". This will be another busy week for us, so make sure to be aware of what's going on!
-Jazz Band will have rehearsal tomorrow (Tuesday) from 2-4pm. This will be our final rehearsal before Jazz MPA! -Winter guard will practice after school from 2:15 - 4:30 on Tuesday and Thursday. -Jazz Band MPA will be on Wednesday at Martin County High School. (details will be made in a separate post). The band will perform at 4:00pm! Come check us out! - Solo and Ensemble will be this Saturday morning at Stuart Middle School. Students will be responsible for getting to Solo and Ensemble themselves. We will not be traveling on a bus as a group. The address for SMS is 575 SE Georgia Avenue – Stuart, FL 34994. All parents and students should park in the parking lots on Georgia Avenue. Students should be aware of their time slot. If they are unsure, they should speak to Mr. Wiley ASAP. - Symphonic band rehearsals will begin next Tuesday after-school. These rehearsals will be every Tuesday and Thursday from 2:00pm - 4:00pm. -The Pit Orchestra will be meeting more often from now on. Please be sure to check out the calendar to know when all the pit orchestra rehearsals and performances will be! This week, the pit will rehearse on Monday, and Tuesday of this week. Both of these rehearsals will be from 6:00pm - 9:00pm. -The Jazz Band will rehearse on Tuesday and Thursday after school from 2:00pm - 4:00pm -Winter Guard will have practice on Tuesday and Thursday. Practice begins precisely at 2:15 and will go all the way to 4:30pm. - 4 County Jazz Ensemble will have its first rehearsal tomorrow (Monday) from 6:00pm - 9:00pm. All 4 County rehearsals (concert band AND jazz band) will be held at Indian River State College's Main Campus in Fort Pierce. The address to IRSC is: 3209 Virginia Ave, Fort Pierce, FL 34981. -Students who are involved in 4 county should have recieved their music on Friday. If you need your music, please see Mr. Wiley. Students are responsible to bring their music to rehearsal. Please do not lose it! The 15 dollar fee for honor band is past due. Please turn it in as soon as possible! -The rehearsal dates for honor band are as follows: Jazz Band: January 9th, 6 - 9pm, January 17th, 6 - 9pm, January 18th, 6 - 9pm and January 21st, 6 - 6:30pm Cocnert Bands: January 19th, 6 - 9pm, January 20th, 1 - 8:30 pm. January 21st, 12 - 3pm. -The Concert for Four County Honor Band will be held on Saturday, January 21st. Jazz band will go on at 6:30 and the concert bands will follow. The concert bands are split up into either 9th and 10th or 11th and 12th grades. The 9th and 10th grade band will perform first. The 11th and 12th grade band will be estimated to start at 8:45. The concert should be over at 9:30pm. -The band will be participating in the MLK Parade next Monday, January 16th. The call time for the parade will be 7:30 AM in the bandroom. You will need to show up in your Man of Steel Show Shirt, Black athletic shorts, black marching shoes, and high black socks. -We already have 6 volunteers for the parade, but if more parents would like to volunteer to walk with the band, we will take up to 10!
