Good morning band family! I hope everyone had a relaxing and FUN FILLED Spring Break. You were all wonderful at the parade on Saturday! We even won the “Most Creative” award! Thanks for representing your school and community well!
The band calendar has been updated all the way through Band Camp in August. Please read through and note important dates/times/performances for the rest of the school year!

Good morning band family! Thanks to everyone for your hard work and dedication over the past few weeks! Success is pouring from the PSLHS Band and I can't wait to continue to make progress! Thanks to the parents who work so diligently to make sure every event runs as smoothly as possible! None of this could happen without you! Attached, you will find some information regarding events and other things happening with the band in the coming weeks!
Saturday, March 10th - Color guard will compete at an FFCC
competition at Durant High School. We will need 4-5 band students come with us to help as floor crew! Let Mr. Wiley know if you can help!
Saturday, March 17th - St. Patrick's day parade. Students must take marching uniforms home before spring break. This parade will be at the civic center, just like the Christmas parade. Call time will be 10:00am. Parade will be over by 11:30am. Green hats/st Patrick's day decorations are encouraged!
Tuesday, March 20th - State Solo and Ensemble at J.I. Leonard High School. The schedule is not published yet, however it will be posted here as soon as it is. Students participating have been excused from classes on this day. Students/Parents will provide their own transportation. If you need to ride with another student/parent, I will need a signed note granting permission from your parent. Bring money for food!
Friday, March 23rd - Southport Middle School will be having a rehearsal as they prepare for MPA. Section leaders and executive leadership is highly encouraged to come help out! Other members may come help, just see me before! You will wear your Red band polo.
Friday, March 30th - Band trip payment #2 due. $50.
