Jag Weekly News - 4/11/21

Good morning band family!! Can you believe its already mid-April? Time is flying by, and our end of the year events are approaching quickly! Let's make sure we are laser focused to end the year strong! Here is what to look out for this week.

• There will be a Drum Major Help Session on Monday from 2:00-3:00pm.
• On Tuesday, there will be Wind Ensemble from 2:30-4:30pm. Seniors from last year who wish to participate in Spectrum may come to the remainder of our after school rehearsals.
• Percussion Ensemble rehearsal will be on Tuesday and Thursday from 5-6pm.
•  Spectrum Guard practice will be on Tuesday and Thursday from 2:30-4:30pm.
• Jazz band rehearsal on Wednesday 2:30-4:00pm.
• Drumline Clinics Wednesday 4-5:30pm
• Symphonic Band Rehearsal on Thursday from 2:30-4:00pm.
• We will be hosting our second Video Game day this Friday afternoon from 2:00pm - 5:00pm. Come on out if you wanna hang with the band and play some games!
•  We are beginning planning for Band Banquet! Be on the look out for a link to a survey where YOU can vote on the theme. More announcements about tickets, and other banquet information will be sent out this week.
  
•  Leadership Packets are available to pick up in the band room, or they can be downloaded off of Canvas! Try out for leadership if you think you have what it takes to make the band better next year! Packets are due May 7th.
  
• Spectrum is a MONTH away! Let's kick into high gear so we can have a great show! Detailed information about Spectrum will be published this week.
