Jag weekly news, 4/25/21

Good morning Band Family! I hope you all are having a great weekend. Here is the news for this week!

• Tuesday and Thursday there will be color guard practice from 2:30-4:30.
• Also, on Tuesday and Thursday, there will be percussion ensemble rehearsal from 5:00-6:00pm
• On Tuesday, there will be Wind Ensemble Rehearsal from 2:30-4:30pm.
• Jazz band will be on Wednesday from 2:30-4:00pm.
• Symphonic band will be on Thursday from 2:30-4:00pm.
• Drumline clinics/auditions are next week. Tuesday and Wednesday clinics, followed by auditions on Thursday. 6-7pm.
• Please remember leadership packets are due Next Friday, May 7th! If you think you can benefit the band as a leader, apply!
• Spectrum tickets are for sale on Ticket Spicket! The concert is May 13th at 7pm and will be a fantastic show! Only $5 each.
• Tickets are on sale for band banquet! They will be $10 for students and guests (minus seniors, they will be free). Each student may bring two guests to banquet! This will include dinner, deserts, drinks, and a great night with your friends and family!
• Seniors, please begin sending the following information to my email (troy.wiley@stlucieschools.org): 7-10 pictures of you (baby to now), your post graduation plans, your favorite moment in band, and a song you’d like to use in the slideshow (must be appropriate). These will be due by Monday, May 3rd.
• Band banquet will be on May 20th!
